Welcome to Presence.
By booking our studio, using our services, or accessing our space, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These ensure a smooth experience for everyone and protect both you and the studio.
1. Studio Use & Responsibility
Presence is a self-service space. You are responsible for your own safety, and the safety and conduct of any guests or team members you bring with you.
Please use all equipment, furniture, props, and facilities respectfully.
Do not modify, dismantle, or tamper with any electrical or studio equipment.
If something isn’t working, please report it immediately, do not attempt to fix it yourself.
The studio operates on trust. Please leave the space as you’d wish to find it.
2. Respect for the Space
To keep the studio enjoyable for everyone:
Handle all furniture, props, and walls with care.
Avoid dragging items across the floor - please lift and move gently.
Do not apply adhesives, tape, fake tan, paint, or makeup directly onto any studio surfaces or furniture.
If any item is damaged or stained during your booking, you’ll be charged for cleaning, repair, or replacement.
Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited inside the building.
Food and drink are welcome - just clean up after yourself.
Pets are not permitted unless agreed in writing beforehand.
3. Check-In / Check-Out
You’ll receive access instructions before your session.
When leaving, please:
Switch off all lights, plugs, and equipment
Return furniture and props to their original positions
Remove all rubbish and dispose of it in the bins provided
Close all windows and doors
Lock up securely
If the studio is left unsecured, untidy, or excessively dirty, an additional cleaning or call-out charge may apply.
4. Booking, Cancellations & Refunds
We understand that plans can change, and we’ve tried to make our cancellation policy as fair as possible.
Cancellations:
48+ hours’ notice → Full refund
24–48 hours’ notice → 50% refund
Less than 24 hours or no-show → No refund
Rescheduling:
You can move your booking free of charge up to 48 hours before your session.
Studio cancellations:
If we ever need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, you’ll receive a full refund or credit note, whichever you prefer.
Overtime:
Overruns exceeding 30 minutes may incur an extra hourly charge.
Please factor setup and pack-down time into your original booking.
5. Liability & Safety
Presence takes great care to maintain a safe environment. However, by booking and using the studio, you agree that:
You are responsible for your own safety and that of your guests.
You use the space and all equipment at your own risk.
Presence Studios is not liable for any personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to your property during your booking.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for injury or death caused by our negligence.
If you are bringing electrical or large equipment, please ensure it complies with relevant safety standards and is used responsibly.
6. Noise & Building Conduct
Presence is located near to other buildings. Please be mindful of noise levels.
Disruptive behaviour or repeated noise complaints may result in your session being ended early without refund.
7. Credit Notes
If issued, credit notes:
Are valid for 90 days from the date of issue
Can be used toward future bookings of the same value
Cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred without our written consent
8. Variations & Errors
Presence reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Any typographical or clerical errors on the website or in booking confirmations may be corrected without liability.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
